RENO, NV - The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is investigating a perceived threat made against the Reno VA Hospital, according to a hospital spokesman.
Darin Farr says a man known to the hospital contacted the US Attorney's office to make complaints about the hospital, and during that conversation, he made what sounded like a threat. The US Attorney's office contacted the sheriff's office.
Bob Harmon with the WCSO says the goal now is to track the man and see what his complaints and intentions were.
Farr says while hospital security is aware of the threat and working with the sheriff's office, it is otherwise business at usual on the hospital grounds.
