Reno, Nev. - Washoe County School District Superintendent Dr. Heath Morrison will leave to start his new job in North Carolina in July, and the school district is beginning to look for a replacement.

But before they do, they're looking for input from the community.

Tuesday night will kick off a series of four town hall meetings designed to get input from the public about what they're looking for in a superintendent.

The town halls will be an opportunity for parents and members of the community to tell school staff about the skills, qualities, and characteristics you want to see in Washoe County's next superintendent. Representatives from the district tell KOLO 8 News Now they're looking for someone who has the approachability of Dr. Morrison, and who will become an active part of the community.

To give your input, you can attend any of the following town halls:

Tuesday, May 29

Melton Elementary School (Quad)
