RENO, NV - University Police Services is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in a reported assault on a student.
The student reports that on Sunday, at approximately 9 pm in the area of 9th & Virginia Street, she was struck and rendered unconscious after having a brief conversation with an unknown person. In addition, another student has come forward to report that she was approached by an individual matching the same description in the area of 15th and Sierra Street on Thursday at about the same time.
Both students describe the individual as a black male, 5’7 – 5’8, 180 pounds, wearing a grey-green puffy jacket, and missing two front teeth. Anyone having information related to this reported crime should contact University Police Services at 334-COPS (2677), 745-6195 or 911. Do not engage the subject or attempt to stop him.
