RENO, Nev. -- Police arrested two people for a string of convenience store robberies in the Reno area.
Reno Police Department (RPD) officials say they were looking for the man who went into a S. Virginia St. convenience store on March 5th, showed a handgun to the clerk and demanded money. The man was wearing a mask.
Police say they suspected similar, subsequent robberies on March 6th and 18th and on April 14th and 17th were committed by the same man.
After the April 17th incident, police were able to identify both the man suspected of that robbery and his suspected getaway driver.
Police arrested both suspects. 20-year old Hunter Redman is facing five counts of Armed Robbery and one count of Conspiracy. The suspected driver, 21-year old Amber Flood, is facing one count each of Armed Robbery and Conspiracy.
RPD officials report the pair may also be charged in connection with a similar robbery in Sparks on Thursday, April 18th.
