INCLINE VILLAGE, NV - The semi-truck driver killed Monday when his load crushed the cab of his truck has been identified.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol 31-year-old Eric Holton of Gardnerville was killed Monday when he tried to stop his truck pulling a flat bed trailer by heading into an emergency off-ramp. He was able to stop his truck but not his load that flew forward with his sudden stop, crushing the cab entirely.
Holton was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was hurt in the wreck.
No other vehicles were involved.
