Police and fire crews are on the scene of an accident near Stoker and 7th Street in Reno, where a pickup truck demolished a bedroom wall coming to rest on a mattress.
A building inspector has been requested to investigate the stability of the structure due to significant damage.
After unsuccessfully attempting to back out of the structure, witnesses say the driver broke out the back windshield of the cabin and crawled across the bed of the truck to escape.
It's not yet known if he was injured in the accident.
Neighbors say the home has been abandoned for nearly a year.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
