Make-A-Wish Comes True For 8-Year-Old Heart Patient

VIRGINIA CITY, NV - Eight-year-old Johnathan Dockins is teaching his family about living life to the fullest.

Born with a congenital heart defect called DORV or Double Right Ventricle with pulmonary stenosis, Johnathan is considered a medical miracle. He has had 10 surgeries, so far, and as his heart continues to grow, he'll have to have additional heart surgeries.

Johnathan's wish to engineer a train through Donner Pass came true
on Friday.

Sunday, June 22, 2014, Johnathan continues his journey in Virginia City as part of his Make-A-Wish. Jonathan will be in Virginia City and may be in for it as some gunfighters are expected to be at the depot around 1:20 p.m.

Johnathan may even get robbed and hung, just like in the old West.

Johnathan and his parents have spent the weekend on the Virginia & Truckee railroad. They took rides on both steam and diesel trains and motor railcars back and forth between Virginia City and Carson City due to Johnathan's love for trains.
