RENO, NV - Just after KOLO News Now reported on this story, Reno Police Department says at least some of the stolen toys were returned.
Police are still looking for a man responsible for grabbing the two 'Toys for Tot's bins snatched at a local Walmart Wednesday morning.
According to police is happened around 4:30 a.m., when officers responded to the Walmart at 5260 W 7th Street, on the report of larceny of two 'Toys for Tots' bins.
Officers arrived and determined through a witness account that the lone suspect entered the Walmart, grabbed two bins full of donated toys, and later ran out of the store to his awaiting vehicle and fled.
The witness managed to obtain the license plate from the suspect vehicle, and a description of the suspect.
The Reno Police Department is actively following up on this information, and are asking the public's help in identifying the man.
Suspect: Hispanic Male adult, 30-35 years old, 5'6'', medium build, shaved head.
Vehicle: 1988 Ford Bronco, Lic# NV/ 112-XRF. Dark in color.
