GARDNERVILLE, NV - People living in Topaz Ranch Estates can now drink their tap water again.
The Bureau of Water Quality says tests on the Topaz Ranch Estates General Improvement District's (TRE GID) water system show the water is safe for consumption. While all previous restrictions have been lifted, the TRE GID will continue testing the system over the next few days.
Residents in the area have been notified via the Reverse 911 System.
The initial "do not drink" order was put in place on Sunday, July 8th due to a break in the main water supply line.
