RENO, NV - Thursday brings the first push of wet weather into the mountains. The moisture is well ahead of the main storm which is set to come through tonight through tomorrow.
The valley floor will see windy conditions and rain showers more off than on through the day today. By tonight we should see better chance for wet weather and a switch from rain to a rain/snow mix late this evening.
By Friday morning we should see a slushy commute with snow showers possible through the day. Temperatures stay above freezing on the valley floor so we should see sloppy and wet roads rather than icy and snow covered roads.
