RENO, NV - Wind gusts this afternoon up to 25mph should help clear out some of the smoke on the valley floor. But the wind is a double edged sword. It helps us short term, but it also fans the fires and causes more smoke later. We will see the smoke in Reno off and on for at least a few more days.
Today also looks like the hottest day in the next week. By the time next week, and the next school year rolls around we will see upper 80°s and lower 90°s.
