RENO, NV - This weekend there is an event that brings people around the globe to Reno that will give a boost to our local economy.

The world's largest mountain hunting and conservation convention is in town this weekend at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.

Exhibitors are in Reno from all the over the world, including South America, New Zealand and Canada.

They'll be selling jewelry, fire arms, fur and wildlife art.

Last year the convention raised three million dollars, the Wild Sheep Foundation says a large portion of that money was given to state and tribal agencies for all wild life conservation, but primarily wild sheep conservation.

The foundation says they're looking forward to many conventions in Reno.

"We love Reno, Reno is so welcoming to us I would say Reno is the wildlife conservation capitol of the world, you guys treat us well it's a friendly convention city it's welcoming, i couldn't think of any other place to be," says Gray Thornton, president of the Wild Sheep Foundation.

Tickets are $15, but if you to Cabelas, Scheels, Sportman's Warehouse or Scolaris, you can get a five dollar off coupon.
