Carson City, Nev. - Owning a restaurant can be tough in this economy, but one local restaurant has found a way to change their business.
The Café at Adele's has been around for more than 30 years, and now, they're offering diners a little more.
They used to just serve lunch and dinner, but that's changed. They've changed the décor inside the restaurant, and now they offer breakfast.
Some of the new breakfast items are crepes, omelets, waffles, pancakes and eggs.
All of the changes are part of their plan to keep people in our area employed.
"That choice was either, be open only for dinners, which were always busy, but if we did that, we'd be laying off folks that we'd had working for us for about 25 years," said owner and manager Karen Abowd.
Abowd says the changes are working, and have upped business, and even changed their demographic.
Most importantly, they've helped people keep their jobs.
