RENO--An investigation by the Regional Gang Unit has led to the arrest of two teens accused of vandalizing nearly $13,000 worth of property.
During the week long investigation, officers were able to link the incidents, all of which happened in Washoe County. Deputies found that two juvenile suspects had stolen over $400 in spray paint from a store in Reno.
One of the suspects, a 17-year-old, was arrested on felony graffiti charges for 96 separate cases totaling $11,700.
The other 17-year-old suspect, was arrested for gross misdemeanor graffiti in 10 separate cases, totaling over $1,200.
One of the teens was also charged with theft of the spray paint.
