HAWTHORNE NV,-- A series of small earthquakes continues to rattle parts of central Nevada, northeast of Hawthorne.
The latest quake measured as a magnitude 2.8, shortly after 2:00 p.m., Saturday afternoon. There have been two minor aftershocks, with the largest being 1.3 in magnitude.
According to the Nevada Seismological Lab, the area is about 15 miles northeast of Hawthorne.
The largest quake of this series came Monday when a 3.8 temblor struck the same area.
There is no word of any damage following these quakes.
