RENO, NV - Both men accused of brutally attacking an elderly man in his Reno home are in custody.

Tony Karnes was arrested Tuesday after a struggle with police. Officers say when he was caught, he had a weapon and drugs on him.

The other suspect, Mark Spadt, was also booked for the attack Tuesday. He was arrested the night of the Thursday attack, but was in a hospital for several days after that.

Police say Karnes and Spadt got into a fight with the victim at his home on West Taylor Street, and stabbed him several times.

Police aren't releasing information about his condition.

Karnes and Spadt are facing several charges, including battery with a deadly weapon and armed robbery. So far, it's unclear if they know the victim.
