Burglars Sought in String of Virginia City Thefts

VIRGINIA CITY, NV - Deputies are on the hunt for people possibly linked to a string of home burglaries in the Virginia City area that began last year.

The latest home burglary happened before noon Monday. According to authorities, the suspects broke into a home on Cartwright Road and stole several firearms along with thousands of rounds of ammunition.

Storey County Sheriff's Office believe the latest home burglary shares similarities to break-ins reported last year.

According to authorities, a home was broken into on September 28 off of Globe Road in Virginia City and the second occurred on October 6 off of Yellow Jacket Road. In both burglaries firearms and jewelry were taken.

Surveillance video stills are attached to this story of the possible suspects in this case. Along with the pictures of the men suspected of stealing thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and ammunition, is a picture of a white truck.

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects.
