Person Sought in Killing at Nevada Indian Colony

ELKO, Nev. (AP) - Tribal police in Lander County are investigating a possible homicide on the Battle Mountain Indian Colony.

Western Shoshone Police Chief Mike Kolsch says they have identified a suspect in the fatal shooting that occurred about 1 a.m. Tuesday. He's been identified as 47-year-old Daniel James Draper.

Police told the Elko Daily Free Press he may be driving a black, 2001 Ford Ranger pickup with possible Nevada license plate, NR8764.
