RENO, Nev. (AP) - A Reno man has been indicted on charges of drunken driving and causing the death of a mo-ped rider in July.
A Washoe County grand jury handed up the indictment Wednesday against 44-year-old Candido Aniceto-Trejo.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports Aniceto-Trejo was arrested in Texas after authorities say he fled there after striking Eric Spencer Thomas on July 7. Thomas died the next day. He was 44.
Aniceto-Trejo is being held in the Washoe County Jail on $250,000 cash bail. Prosecutors say he faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted for drunken driving and causing Thomas' death.
