Superintendent Townhall Introduces Public to Candidates

RENO, NV - The list is narrowed, but the search for Heath Morrison's replacement is far from over. Five candidates are eyeing Washoe County School District's top position.

Most people have very strong opinions about what we need from a new superintendent.

In an effort to introduce the candidates, Washoe County's Board of Trustees hosted a townhall Tuesday evening at the National Automobile Museum.

Harrison Peters and Dr. Paul LaMarca were the guest of honors.

The public was invited to attend and questioned both candidates about their plans for the county.

Two more townhalls are scheduled for the public to meet the remaining three candidates. They will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the National Automobile Museum.
