SPARKS, NEV. -The Sparks Fire Department is investigating a fire outside a furniture store late Monday night. According to SFD, the fire started outside the American Furniture & Mattress Inc. on 1633 Prater Way at 10:36pm.
Fire crews found a pile of furniture outside the building fully engulfed and quickly put the fire out. The furniture was going to be taken to a dump.
No injuries were reported since nearby businesses were closed. An American Furniture & Mattress moving van had some heat damage but, the fire was contained to outside the building. The cause of the fire is unknown.
