Strong Winds Ahead

RENO, NV - Strong winds are in the forecast for Thursday. The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a Wind Advisory for our area.

A strong cold front will move through the region on Thursday afternoon. Ahead of the front strong South Westerly winds... temperatures here on the valley floor in the upper fifties and low sixties. Once the front come through... temps are going to plummet. And that means a chance for snow showers Thursday evening.

Much colder on Friday with scattered snow showers. Highs Friday afternoon will be in the low forties.

Another system moves in on Sunday. Once again bringing a chance for snow showers and continued chilly temperatures.
