North Lake Tahoe – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting motorists that delays are expected on State Route 28 due to paving operations.
Operations will take place as follows:
Saturday, September 17 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. : Motorists can except
eastbound lane closures from National Avenue to State Route 267 / SR 28 Junction.
Sunday, September 18 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. : Motorists can expect
westbound lane closures from National Avenue to State Route 267 / SR 28 Junction.
Lane restrictions will be in affect during the paving operation. Motorists are advised to expect delays up to 10 minutes. Caltrans urges motorists to plan ahead and use alternate routes if needed.
Caltrans urges motorists to use caution in this area and to "Slow for the Cone Zone".
