SPARKS, NV - Shots were fired at the building that houses the Sparks Police Department Saturday night at 11:55.
One officer was in the secured parking lot when it happened and heard the shots being fired. Several rounds hit the building and at least one entered the lobby. No one was hurt in the incident.
Sparks police say the possible suspect vehicle is an early 1990's Toyota pickup truck with a regular cab. There is a second vehicle which appears in surveillance video. That vehicle is described as a larger pickup or SUV, possibly with four doors. The vehicle has two-tone paint, with a light color on the upper portion of the vehicle and a darker color on the lower portion.
Evidence from the scene was gathered and an investigation is ongoing.
