SPARKS, NV - Sparks police have arrested two men after a burglary near Wild Creek Golf Course Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to a house on Fairway Court, after a neighbor called saying it appeared two males were trying to break into the house. Police watched a man walk out the door carrying a flat-screen television, and approached him at gunpoint. He walked back into the house.

Then, police say, they watched one man run out a back door and start jumping fences. He was caught by a K-9 officer. The second man made it to his car, driving onto a sidewalk and ramming a police car, according to police. He was arrested when police pinned his car with their patrol cars.

Police found all the property stolen from the house, as well as things that appear to be from other residential burglaries.

20-year-old Joseph Baker is charged with burglary, obstructing officers with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer, driving with no license, driving with suspended registration, and sex offender failure to register. 24-year-old Cornelius Perry is booked for residential burglary and obstructing.

Both have been arrested on other charges in the last year.
