SPARKS, NV - A man is being treated for skull fractures and brain swelling after a fight near the Great Basin Brewery Saturday morning.
Police say shortly after midnight, they were called to the area of 955 C Street on a report of a fight. They met the victim, who said he had been hit from behind and gone unconscious during an argument. Police believe he fell to the concrete after being hit and sustained further injuries from the back of his head striking the concrete.
The victim is in stable condition at Renown Regional Medical Center and is being held at the hospital as a precautionary measure.
During the incident, several witnesses described the attacker as having a light to fair complexion. He is 25 to 30 years old with long blond hair, and left in what is believed to be a 2006 four-door Jeep Wagon with an unknown color.
