SPARKS, NV – Sparks police are looking for the driver involved in a hit-and-run over the weekend. It happened in the intersection of Sullivan Lane and G Street on Sunday at 8:18pm.
According to police, the victim was driving northbound on Sullivan Lane and was hit on the driver’s side of the vehicle by a black 1989 Honda coupe bearing Nevada license plates 892YKL. The bumper and license plate of the suspect vehicle was dislodged during the crash. The victim, Santiago Caceras-Umana, suffered a neck injury as a result of the crash.
Witnesses report the suspect vehicle was driven by an Hispanic woman accompanied by two additional passengers. The suspect vehicle was last seen by witnesses fleeing eastbound on G Street and then southbound on 19th Street.
