SPARKS, Nev. -- Sparks Police Department (SPD) officials are asking for help trying to find a man accused of indecent exposure to a minor.

Officers say it happened at about 4pm in the 500 block of Sparks Blvd. on Saturday, March 30th.

According to police, a child reported that an unknown man approached and asked the child to "touch his privates." The child then told her parents what had happened.

The suspect never tried to take the girl anyway, but he did expose himself, said police, so the charge is indecent exposure.

Officers describe the suspect as a 20 to 25 year old white man who is about 5'8" tall with a stocky or heavy build and dark hair. He was last seen with a teal-colored shirt on that may have featured an Angry Birds logo.

If you have any more information, please call Sparks Police at (775) 353-2225 or contact Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900 or www.secretwitness.com. Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect.
