RENO, Nev. – Club Cal Neva in downtown Reno is now owned by a single person.
The Sierra Development Company, which had been operating the Club Cal Neva since 1962, announced on June 30th that it has transfered all of Cal Neva's stock to Jeffery L. Siri.
Siri was a long-time Cal Neva employee. He began with the casino in 1981 as the controller. He worked his way up to be named Chief Executive Officer in 2001. Siri now holds 100 percent of the Club Cal Neva stock.
Saturday's announcement comes shortly after the Nevada Gaming Commission approved the sale of all Club Cal Neva Sports Book operations to William Hill Sports Betting of the United Kingdom.
The Club Cal Neva also announced Philip Kenny will take over the CEO/General Manager role and Ken Barlor is promoted to Vice President of Operations for the casino.
