STOREY COUNTY, NV-- Firefighters have contained a small brush fire that burned less than an acre in Lockwood Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters got the first call around 2:15 p.m. of reports of a small brush fire near eastbound Interstate 80 at Lockwood.
The fire itself burned between Ave De La Couleurs and the Truckee River.
Our reporter on scene says 5 firetrucks fought this blaze.
The cause remains under investigation, but it is believed to be human-caused.
