Slick Roads Lead to Morning Crashes

RENO, NV - Reno police responded to several accidents that began with slick streets as a result of winter weather Wednesday morning.

The intersection of 4th and McCarran was briefly closed because of a head-on crash involving two cars. At least one person was extricated, with five people hurt. The extent of the injuries is unknown.

Nearby, police also responded to a rollover at Mayberry and 4th. No one was hurt in that crash.

Police also responded to a crash with no serious injuries, near Grubstake Circle and Caughlin Parkway.

Police say there were no injuries in a crash on 7th Street involving just one car.
