Truckee, CA - It's the first housing development of its kind in Tahoe: built on the mountain of a ski resort. Construction workers are still working on the Home Run Townhomes, which are being built on the slopes of Northstar. They're situated between the Ritz Carlton and the Village. Each home features at least three bedrooms, high ceilings, and the amenities you would expect. But it's what is on the outside of these duplexes that makes them so unique.
"Every one of these 16 residences is found perfectly slopeside with immediate ski-in, ski-out access," says Jeff Brown of Tahoe Mountain Resorts Real Estate. "There are certainly a good number of residences that are at various resorts within the village setting. But so few - if any - that are truly on the mountain."
Construction should be completed by this spring. Prices range from $1.6 million to $2.2 million.
