SILVER SPRINGS, NV - Eight people are out of a home after a fire Saturday evening.
According to Central Lyon County Fire, crews were called to the residence around 5:30PM on the 3400 block of Citrus Street in Silver Springs.
The fire was contained to one bedroom of the home. Lyon County Fire says a couple of the adults who lived in the home sustained minor injuries from trying to put the fire out.
The home is not currently livable. Red Cross is providing assistance to the family.
The fire is still under investigation by the Nevada State Fire Marshall's Office.
Central Lyon County Fire had mutual aid assistance from North Lyon County Fire and Storey County Fire.
