RENO, NV - The victim of a stabbing in early September has died.
Reno police say 58-year-old Tanjernia Whitfield was found stabbed on September 2nd, and went into ICU for several weeks.
Two days later, police arrested Joe Nathan Scott, Jr., and arrested him for Battery with a Deadly Weapon Causing Substantial Bodily Harm.
Whitfield died September 30th.
Police are still investigating and haven't filed any new charges so far.
