GARDNERVILLE, Nev. (AP) - Scolari's Food and Drug Co. says it will close its store in Gardnerville the day after Thanksgiving.
In a statement Friday, the company says that after 23 years, the decision was a difficult one based on a number of business factors.
The store shut down its pharmacy late last month. The rest of the store will close Nov. 29.
Workers will be offered jobs at other Scolari's locations.
The company is headquartered in Reno and will continue to operate 12 stores, including two Sak 'n Save stores in northern Nevada.
