A pregnant woman and another man are safe after being the victims of a road rage shooting resulting in their car being flipped over early Sunday morning.

Reno Police arrived at the intersection of Plumas and Martin St. after a report of a shooting. Officers located a black Lexus resting on its side, and were soon approached by the victims.

According to police, the victims reported being followed by an erratic driver. The suspect then tried to pass them but the victim sped up to avoid being passed. They then heard several gun shots coming from the suspect's car, at which point the driver leaned over to avoid being shot and accidentally hit a parked pick-up truck. The crash caused the Lexus to be flipped on its side.

The victims left the car and hid nearby, expecting the suspects to come back.

Both were taken to Renown to treat minor injuries. The unborn child seems to have not been harmed in the accident.

Witnessed have described the suspect's car as a dark sedan, last seen traveling east on Martin St. from Plumas.

There is a $1000.00 reward being offered for information leading to the arrest of this suspect(s). Anyone with information regarding the suspect(s) or this crime should contact the Reno Police Department at 334-2115, Secret Witness at 322-4900 or text the tip to 847411 Keyword- SW.
