RENO, Nev. – A local business is working to make your walk to the Aces Ballpark a little safer.
Tutto Ferro, an upscale steel fabricator company, is helping repair the staircase on East Second Street near the Reno Police Department.
The company will donate the materials to repair the staircase leading to the riverside path. This staircase helps fans avoid the busy intersection.
“I want to give back to the city I love, and make family’s trips to the ballpark safe,” Tutto Ferro owner Paolo Cividino said. “I take my son to the games and wouldn’t want to see him get hurt along the way. Fixing these stairs is a way I can give back and improve the look of downtown.”
The repairs start Thursday and go through Saturday.
The Aces home opener is Friday, April 12.
