A motorcycle rider is seriously injured after he was hit by a car that left the scene.
It happened about 6:45 Sunday night near the intersection of Robb Drive and Sharlands Avenue in northwest Reno.
Police say the driver crossed a double yellow line in a construction zone. They crashed in to motorcycle, knocking the rider down, then speeding off.
Reno police are asking for your help tracking down the driver. Witnesses describe the car as a "sporty" red-over-black sedan.
Police say it should have damage on the left side where the sedan hit the biker. If you have any information, please call Reno Police or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
