Reno Police Search for Suspects Linked to More than 40 Burglaries

RENO, NV - The Reno Police Department has had a rash of commercial burglaries occurring throughout the city over the last three months, and those burglaries appear to be continuing.

According to police the burglaries started in mid March, and since that time, over forty burglaries of small businesses and convenience stores have occurred. The suspects appear to be targeting these types of businesses, and only taking cash and liquor.

The burglaries occur all over the city, and usually after midnight and before sunrise.

The suspects are breaking the front glass doors to gain entry, and immediately targeting cash registers and cash drawers. It appears to police through surveillance video that two suspects are involved, and they have concealed their identity with masks and gloves.

The suspects are quick to exit the businesses, and are observed fleeing the area in a dark colored smaller sedan.

RPD is asking the public's assistance in identifying these suspects, and preventing further loss to the small businesses in our community.

Suspect #1: Male adult, 20-25, thin build, possibly athletic. NFD

Suspect #2: Male adult, 20-25, med build, NFD

Vehicle: Smaller sedan, possibly Nissan, dark in color.
