Reno, NV—The arch in downtown Reno will play host to the 2012 Bowling's U.S. Women's Open event.

More than 300 of the world’s best female bowlers from over 16 countries are represented at the event.

The finals will be held outside under the famous Reno arch, and to prepare for the event, many downtown streets will be blocked off.

From Sunday, June 24th at 6am until Friday, June 29th at 8am, North Virginia Street will be closed from Second Street to Fourth Street.

Businesses along that route will remain open throughout the closure. Organizers suggest drivers use Sierra and Center Streets as alternative routes and allow for extra travel time.
