RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police say almost one-third of the businesses they checked during a weekend underage drinking sting
sold alcohol to minors.
Police say they had underage decoys try buying liquor at 59 Reno-area businesses between Friday and Monday. Seventeen stores and bars failed the test.
Funding for the compliance checks comes from an underage drinking laws enforcement grant.
