RENO, NV - Dining out can always be a way to relax and unwind. Today, Dining Out For Life, a regionwide fundraiser held on Thursday, April 24, 2014, gives northern Nevadans an easy and appetizing way to fight HIV.
Today, 44 participating restaurants will donate a portion of the sales to Northern Nevada HOPES, Reno's nonprofit HIV service organization and community health center.
An international event with over 60 participating cities, Dining Out For Life raises $3 million each year for HIV service organizations across the United States and Canada.
This marks the 4th year that Northern Nevada HOPES is raising funds for individuals and families affected by HIV in Nevada.
Northern Nevada HOPES offers a full range of healthcare services for the general community and for individuals affected by HIV. Services include primary care, chronic disease management, behavorial health counseling, social services, and free HIV testing and outreach.
