RENO, NV - Reno police say a shooting in a building next to Renown Regional Medical Center was seemingly not random, but no motive has been established. The hospital is returning to normal business after being on lockdown much of the afternoon.
Roads surrounding the hospital are back open. Police say no shooters are still being sought and everybody has been accounted for.
The first report went out at 2:05PM Tuesday. Police say an incident command and lockdown were in place within 15 minutes.
Police say the shooter is dead, the body found in the third floor of the medical building at 1500 E. 2nd Street. Police say the shooter killed himself. One more person is dead of a gunshot wound; two more are being treated for gunshot wounds. At least one of the victims is a doctor, according to the Department of Public Safety.
The offices belong to Urology of Nevada. The building has been searched from floor to floor and nothing else has been found.
Police say the suspect fired several rounds from a 12-gauge shotgun. 29 witnesses have been interviewed.
No identities have been released.
The hospital wants people who have appointments there Wednesday to check the hospital's website for updated availabilities.
Reno police are asking If anyone saw the shooter or anything else suspicious, please contact Reno police or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
