Reno Police, FBI Hunt for Bank Robber

RENO, NV - Reno police and the FBI are looking for the man who robbed a teller at a downtown Wells Fargo branch.

About 10AM Wednesday, a black man walked in and got cash from a teller at 200 South Virginia Street. No further description has been given.

He showed a note to a teller and got cash. The note indicated the man had a gun, but no weapon was ever seen. He left on foot with no one being hurt.

Police questioned a person of interest they stopped nearby, but have determined he is not the suspect.

The suspect is described as: An unknown race male, dark/tan skin, 30's to early 40's, 5'6" to 5'7", 130 lbs., slender build, few days growth of beard/mustache. LSW: baseball cap, brown short sleeved t-shirt, blue jeans, light colored shoes.
