RENO, NV - The Reno Fire Department made quick work of a fire that broke out about 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

RFD says the fire began in some nearby brush and debris and then spread to a nearby garage and shed on the 1100 block of Brentwood Drive.

Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to the home or neighboring properties.

The cause of the fire is unknown, but witnesses reported seeing a small fire on a nearby power pole about the same time.

The family was able to return to their home. There were no reported injuries.
