Reno Elks Lodge Flag Day Ceremony to be Held Friday, June 14th

The Reno Elks Lodge is hosting its annual Flag Day ceremony on Friday, June 14 at the Reno Elks lodge located at 597 Kumle Lane in Reno, across from the Reno Convention Center on South Virginia Street. The ceremony will begin at 5pm and the public is invited.

The Nevada Air National Guard's Color Guard will present the colors.
Boy Scout Troop 3396 will be presenting the historical flags of America.
The Navy Operational Support Center personnel and the Boy Scout Troop 3396 will present a flag burning ceremony to solemnly dispose of old service-worn flags which have been brought to the Elks lodge for proper disposal. Guest vocalists, Ronda Shen and Kassandra Ann Glueck,
will sing patriotic hymns (see note below).

"Bring in your retired flags and dress in patriotic attire, as we salute the American Flag and the men and women who have served and are serving this great country," said Lowell Cross, Reno Elks Lodge Chairman of the Americanism Committee.
