RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno-Tahoe International Airport expects to see about 12,000 passengers a day between now and the end of the holiday weekend.
Airport spokesman Brian Kulpin expects the busiest days to be Wednesday and Sunday.
Kulpin says that so far no local flights are directly affected by a strong storm system on the East Coast that has put hundreds of flights there in jeopardy of being delayed or canceled.
But he cautions that could change at any time and urges passengers to contact their airline if they have connecting flights in the region.
He also reminds travelers with holiday presents to make sure they are unwrapped while going through security.
