RENO, NV - The longtime Harrah's property Rancharrah is for sale in Reno, listed with Reno real estate company DoMore Real Estate.
The late gaming magnate Bill Harrah bought the 117.14-acre property near Kietzke and McCarran in 1957. Developments over the years have led to its current landmarks, including the Harrah Mansion, equestrian amenities, a private lake and more. There's more than 36,000 square feet of living space.
Harrah's son John Harrah owns the property and has decided to sell it, though the reason hasn't been disclosed. He started to put it on the market a few years ago, but never signed the contract, according the the PR firm representing the sale.
The property in recent years has been used to host various charity events, among other things.
Selling price is $33.9 million.
