RENO, NV - A lot of families will be hitting the pumpkin patch farms this weekend. With less than two weeks to go until Halloween, many are eager to get all of their decorations out of the way.
At Ferrari Farms in East Reno, Frank Ferrari, says it's definitely going to be busy at his place. But it's more than just the kids packing the patch to pick out pumpkins. At this farm, there's a corn maze, a bounce house, hay rides, and a petting zoo.
All of these activities don't have to break the bank. For instance, hay rides are just a couple of bucks. Some pumpkins sell for as little as 50 cents.
At Andelin Family Farm in Spanish Springs, this has been a busy October. It's only had a pumpkin patch for about three years, but some kids have had so much fun, it's already become a fall tradition for them to come back.
