Carson City, NV - Power is back on in most areas of Carson City, but near Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center around 150 customers are still without power. An additional area without power is near the Governor's Manson, with a dozen or so customers still in the dark.
With severe winds Wednesday, several power poles were damage, even splitting some of them in half. With thousands of residents and businesses without power earlier in the day, crews tried to work quickly to restore power.
NV Energy crews will be working through the night to replace the broken power poles, and to get a handle on the two outages in the Carson area.
